Having a good domain name can often mean the difference between a successful blog and one that never gets any visitors. It will most likely be the first thing that your visitors will encounter, and remember your blog by if they ever find your blog online. Many bloggers still use their internet provider’s domain name or a free blogging service to get their messages online.
With good domain names getting scarcer and scarcer, some people are willing to pay top dollar to get hold of one. I’m proud to say that I paid just $10 for my one, well actually $7 as I used a GoDaddy discount code. While I’m cheap when it comes to running my blog, many people shell out vast sums of cash to buy a domain. You

That just means that PPC systems like that obviously make money.

If you feel the PPC ads are not good, I would suggest you should boycott any service providing such inferior quality ads. However, you seem to be promoting precisely these services on your own blog! :O

I don’t think he said PPC is not good. I think he said that he thinks they are a waste of a premium domain name. I agree, I think they could get more value out of the domain if they develop it

I agree with Runt on this. Those sites are relying on type in traffic. If they developed a site, they would be able to capitalize on search engine traffic as well. That would push up their earnings considerably.

I have nothing against PPC, if it is used correctly. Adding PPC ads to a site can provide value to your visitors. Simply creating a site completely around PPC, to me, just seems like no better than all the “Made For AdSense” sites you see around the net.
